Author's Note:
In the summer of 2007, I planned a trip that encompassed two weeks in Paris with four days in London sandwiched in the middle. We had planned to see Paris, the Champagne region, the Wimbledon semifinals, and the prologue of what would turn out to be a scandal-marred Tour de France. I had so many people who wanted to hear how the trip went that I ultimately decided to create this website, with real-time updates of what I was doing.
I quickly found that desktop publishing and relaxing vacations were incompatible. I bravely kept up the fight for the first week, but I sit in front of a computer for a living, so I promised the hundreds of people reading (I'm not kidding-there was a serious traffic bounce) that I would most certainly be back with an update.
Real life has intervened, as it tends to do, but I've finished it. Questions and comments can be sent to james - at - jameslyden.com. Thanks for reading!
