We have arrived safely and I've seen the top of the Eiffel Tower, seen in sparkling lights while I drank champagne in the park and got older in as elegant a manner as the likes of me can manage.
Rest assured I have pictures and better descriptions when I sit in front of a computer-but I finally got some sleep after God knows how many hours without, and didn't wake up until 11 AM local.
More to come after I see some more of Paris instead of just typing about it. Until then, in the words of the maitre'd at Restuarant Jules Verne, anything is possible (including dinner where the wait for a reservation is two months.)
